Troubleshooting
Relic Putt Not Loading?
Six checks, in the order that actually fixes it.
If Relic Putt shows a black rectangle, sits on a loading screen, or refuses to start, the cause is almost always one of six things. Work downwards: each step is a minute or less, and step four tells you whether the fault is with the game or with your setup.
- Hard refresh the page Press Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac. A normal reload can reuse a cached, half-downloaded player; a hard refresh discards it and fetches everything again. This alone resolves most one-off failures.
- Try another browser, or turn extensions off Open the game in a different browser, or use a private window in the one you have. If it loads there, an extension is interfering — usually an ad blocker, a script blocker, or a privacy add-on that filters frames. Disable them one at a time to find the culprit.
-
Allow this site to load third-party players
The game is a frame served by GamePix, so your browser has to permit a third-party frame on this domain. Check for a blocked-content icon in the address bar, review the site permissions you have set, and make sure your blocker allows frames from
play.gamepix.com. - Open the game directly on GamePix Go to the official Relic Putt page. If it works there but not here, the problem is in the embed or your settings for this domain, not the game. If it fails there too, the game or your network is the cause and nothing on this site will change that.
- Switch network, or turn your VPN off Some networks throttle or block game hosting domains, and a VPN can break the same connection it was meant to protect. Try a different connection — mobile data is a fast test — or disable the VPN briefly and reload. If the game starts straight away, the network path was the problem.
- On a phone, rotate to landscape first Load the page with the device already sideways, then tap play. Starting in portrait and rotating afterwards sometimes leaves the player sized for the orientation it began in. If the screen stays black after rotating, reload once while already in landscape.
If none of that worked
Two outcomes worth separating. If the official GamePix page works and only this embedded copy fails, tell us — that is a fixable problem on our side, and the details help. If the official page fails as well, the game is unavailable to you for reasons outside this site, and the honest answer is to wait and try later rather than to hunt for another copy.
When you report it, include the browser and its version, the device, what you saw (black box, spinner, error text), and whether the official page loaded at the same moment. Send it through the email address on the about page.
If the game loads but the controls do not respond, that is a different problem — start with the focus note in the controls reference instead.
Blocked by a school or work network rather than a broken player? That is a separate situation.
